This position is offered as full time or part time (pro-rata) with the flexibility to work school hours if needed.
As our Human Resource Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind:
Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with overall business goals
Supporting and coaching managers on team performance concerns, accountability and general workplace matters
Collaborating with leadership to foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture
Partnering with the Recruitment Coordinator on candidate shortlisting, interviews and hiring decisions
Managing the onboarding and induction process to ensure a smooth start for new employees
Leading performance management processes including annual reviews, improvement plans and development conversations
Driving staff training and upskilling initiatives to nurture internal talent and career growth
Maintaining and regularly updating position descriptions and HR policies in line with best practices
Guiding and overseeing fair and compliant employee relations processes including grievance handling and terminations
Monitoring key HR metrics and provide insights to inform business decisions
What you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in HR leadership, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-site or service-based environment
In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work compliance and HR best practices
Attention to detail and strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
Balanced approach and ability to handle tough conversations, combining empathy, professionalism and accountability
Strategic mindset with hands-on capability and a proactive and problem-solving process improvement approach
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management preferred
