About our client:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of packaged mortars, cements, and specialty sands, with over 50 years of industry experience. Based within Redland Bay, they operate a large dry mix plant and adjoining sand quarry who supplies to major hardware and plumbing retailers across Queensland.

What you'll do:
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Operator to take charge of sand and gravel processing through two rotary dryers and associated equipment. This hands-on role supports high-volume packaging operations and involves operating loaders, managing stockpiles, and controlling drying and washing systems. You'll work closely with the production team to meet shifting operational demands and production targets.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate a loader to feed sand into dryers and manage stockpiles
• Control two rotary dryers and monitor key parameters (e.g., temperature, moisture)
• Operate a sand washing and mobile screening plant as required
• Coordinate drying schedules and sequencing with the Production Manager
• Maintain clean and efficient work areas around plant and equipment

What you'll need:

• Experience operating loaders and/or mobile screening equipment (training available)
• Strong attention to detail and safety-focused work habit
• Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Adaptable and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
