The Williamtown team are currently looking for an experienced General Storeperson with adequate knowledge of warehousing processes and procedures. As a forklift will also be used, having a LF License is essential. You will also need a manual drivers licence.

Shift times: Monday – Thursday 7.00am – 3.06pm & Friday 7.30am - 2pm

6 Months Minimum

Start date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $40.25 per hour + super

Main Accountabilities:

- Loading, unloading, moving, stacking and staging products and materials using a Forklift, or other non-specialised-materials handling equipment

-Pick Packing

- Basic use of a PC

- Use of RF Scanner

- Assisting in physical inventories and ensuring proper stock rotation

- Sorting, scanning and noting of products that move through the distribution facility

- Maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work area, conducting operations in a manner that promotes safety

- Keeping appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained

- Preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation

- Put away, replenishment and retrieval of goods to and from specific warehouse areas

- Operation of non-licensed equipment and manual tasks associated with packaging operations

Requirements:

- Valid LF License Essential

- Australian Citizen

- Valid Police Check

- Drivers Licence (Manual preferred)

- Medical clearance prior to commencement

- Availability to work up to 40 hours per week (as a casual)

- Needs to live within 60 minutes from RAAF Base Williamtown and has reliable transportation.

- Needs to be able to obtain DCAC Baseline Security requirements

- Steel Cap Boots & High Vis

- Able to work independently and in a team environment

- Undertakes duties in a safe and responsible manner

- Possesses basic interpersonal and communication skills
