The Team:
The Asset Management team is primarily responsible for the lifecycle asset management of the complex and critical built infrastructure supporting the delivery health services in Tasmania. This is achieved through the development and implementation of a Strategic Asset Management System that ensures the required level of service is delivered to our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role:
The Manager will implement and apply an Asset Management System to ensure that built infrastructure is developed and managed to meet current and future health delivery needs. The position also leads the provision centralised support to the operational Facilities and Engineering Teams across the state.
You will need:
- Demonstrated high-level expertise and experience in contemporary asset management principles and practice including the development of Strategic Asset Management Plans
- Demonstrated high level strategic, conceptual, analytical and creative skills to research, analyse, evaluate and integrate solutions to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills and proven capability to interpret and articulate complex issues to non-technical stakeholders such as the executive, Head of Agency and the Minister.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$139,470 to $148,863 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:
