The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting Civil Works Operators and Labourers for casual, temp-to-perm roles South of the River. If you have a background in road maintenance or civil construction, we want to hear from you!

Job Details

Casual assignment, temp to perm opportunities

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm, occasional overtime available

Starting rate of $38.39 per hour + Super with a guaranteed pay increase in July

Role Description

Road construction and maintenance tasks including concreting, pothole repair, trench digging, and pipelaying

Installation of signage and guard rails; verge care and general site clean-up

Operation of small plant and equipment (e.g., excavators, bobcats)

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in civil construction or road works

MR class driver’s licence (or higher)

Familiarity with civil construction tools and machinery

Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual labour

Strong team player who can follow instructions

Construction induction white ward

National Police Clearance (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain

Desirable Skills & tickets:

Experience operating bobcats and excavators

Dogman, Crane Operator or Hiab tickets

Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) or other traffic management accreditations

First Aid Certificate

Successful candidates will have opportunities to upskill and receive training on a variety of equipment.
