Protech are looking for experienced Production Charge Up Operators to perform work with our client, located in Tanami Desert on a 2/2 FIFO basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Immediate start
• Casual $67.45 Flat rate
• 12 hour day and nightshift
• Minimum 6 months, potential to be ongoing for the right candidate
• Accommodation/Meals and Travel from Darwin, Alice Springs, Brisbane or Perth

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating charge-up machines with efficiency
• Follow plans accurately to charge development faces with explosives
• Correct storage and transportation of explosives
• A solid understanding of ground support techniques
• Operation of an Integrated Tool Carrier
• Conduct Pre starts on equipment and workplace inspections

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Previous 3 years experience in an underground production charge up role
• Experience with Emulsion (Desirable)
• Bogger Experience (Desirable)
• Proficiency in Integrated tool carrier
• Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
• Valid & contactable references
• Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
