WHAT'S THE JOB?

Under the leadership of the Student Recruitment Manager, the Student Recruitment Advisor is on the front lines of student recruitment—guiding prospective students from enquiry to enrolment in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. You’ll manage a high-volume pipeline, convert leads, and play a critical role in hitting enrolment targets for domestic students across our Sydney and Melbourne campuses. It’s a fun, challenging role that will see you deliver an incredible student experience, supporting students in the journey to a career in the music industry and related fields.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and convert warm leads using Salesforce CRM to guide prospective students through each stage of the enrolment journey.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach (phone, campus tours, expos, open days, events, email) to support prospective students toward successful enrolment outcomes.
  • Manage a large and dynamic pipeline across current and future intakes, ensuring timely follow-ups and completion of daily administrative tasks.
  • Attend expos, events, seminars and high school events to grow awareness and consideration of the AIM brand
  • Collaborate with admissions, onboarding, and academic teams to streamline the enrolment process.
  • Evaluate applicants against published entry requirements and provide informed decisions.
  • Support students throughout the entire recruitment process, offering guidance and clear communication.
  • Review applications, confirm eligibility, and issue offers of admission under delegated authority.
  • Clearly explain course offerings, entry requirements, and enrolment procedures to prospective students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records while ensuring adherence to institutional policies and compliance standards.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Relevant Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary qualification in a relevant industry and experience in recruitment would in the HE/VET sector (advantageous).
  • Sales & Target Achievement: Track record of meeting and exceeding enrolment targets, with a focus on sales-driven outcomes.
  • Strong Communication & Engagement Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills for engaging with prospective students and stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word and Excel, and competence in using CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Customer Experience and Service: Demonstrated customer experience and service skills in the HE/VET sector (advantageous).
  • A valid Working With Children check (WWCC).
