Randstad are on the hunt for Excavator operators and trade assistants to work on a 3 month project in Regional areas of VIC and NSW. Working locations are based between Barinsdale and Orbost VIC, but specific sites may vary.

The role requires alot of travel and working away from home on a 10 day on and 4 day off roster. Shifts are 10-12 hours per day.

Accomodation will be provided for individuals who are not local to the area.

Once in a lifetime project - involving the renewal/upgrade of the other existing inner-city network across the Nation.

The role

• Installation of optical fibre cables and marker posts
• Cutting and repairing of fences
• Potholing and locating multiple services
• Hauling and manual handling of optic fibre cables across multiple projects

What you need

• Drivers License is a MUST
• Construction White Card is a MUST
• Operator and VOC Excavator ticket is a MUST
• RII accreditation is a MUST
• Heavy rigid license, pit,pipe and cable hauling course, senior first aid certificate, current level 2 traffic management implemntation course is desirable but not mandatory
