About the Roles
We are looking for experienced and passionate Language, Literacy and Numeracy Lecturers to join our Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program. These positions involve delivering language, literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills education to a diverse group of adult learners, supporting them in developing essential skills for employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective teaching to adult learners with diverse backgrounds.
- Assess students using the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), adapting methodologies to meet individual learning needs.
- Utilize a variety of teaching approaches and flexible assessment methods to engage and meet learner needs.
- Ensure compliance with administrative and quality requirements of the SEE program.
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes learner success.
The Successful candidate will have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or its successor.
- A specialization in SEE Literacy and Numeracy (General and Distance Learning) with:
- TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set, OR
- A higher-level education qualification in adult language, literacy, and numeracy, OR
- A Bachelor of Education or equivalent with a TESOL, secondary teaching, adult education, or vocational education specialization.
- Knowledge and/or experience with the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.
- Familiarity with the Australian Core Skills Framework and Department of Employment and Workplace Relations program requirements.
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office, online learning platforms (Moodle, Blackboard Collaborate), and student information systems like Workforce Australia Online.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
- A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
