The Principal Learning & Development Team Leader's key responsibilities are:

• Lead a small Learning and Development team in the efficient and effective delivery of contemporary learning and development including the Online Guided Learning tool.
• Monitor and adjust the teams' priorities and coordinate team capacity, problem solve and negotiate for positive outcomes.
• Oversee and report on, key learning and development activities including:
o Design high quality learner centric resources such as courseware, eLearning, simulations.
o Deliver multi modal training such as virtual instructor-led training and/or face to face as required.
o Manage training environments, the Learning Management system and training attendance records where relevant.
o Review and maintain online (including Online Guided Learning) and/or manual training materials and resources based on advice from business experts.
o Respond to service desk incidents related to training as required by Tier 2 business experts.
o Design, build and update Online Guided Learning content based on advice from the Unify business experts.
• Monitor and report on learning outcomes, including effectiveness and offer recommendations to the Director and Executives, to improve future Unify learning and development.
• Work closely with the Unify business experts, practice and business stakeholders to undertake training needs analyses and develop training plans for approval by the business.
• High level interpersonal and professional communication skills to work effectively with individuals and teams with different levels of technical and business knowledge.
• Navigate conflicting priorities to ensure strategic and sustainable business services outcomes.
• Initiate and maintain effective relationships with, and between key internal and external stakeholders to proactively manage needs, expectations, mitigate risks and support learning and development goals.
• Coordinate, monitor and escalate where required training service support requests in consultation with business and practice experts.
• High level interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with individuals and teams with different levels of technical and business knowledge.
• Maintain effective relationships with, and between key internal and external stakeholders related to Unify learning and development resources.
• Work closely with Departmental Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural representatives to ensure a cultural lens is applied to the training development and delivery.
