JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for someone to join our growing business Apex RV located in the Central RV manufacturing hub of Campbellfield Melbourne. We manufacture showers for the RV trade.

A good understanding of assembling and constructing of products. Have technical knowledge and be skilled in using hand tools and machines is advantageous. We value the right attitude and a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn. Some light lifting and moving of products required and moving and working on your feet during the day. A forklift license would be a plus or experience with a walkie stacker. An ability to drive a light truck on occasions with a normal drivers licence. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Produce components by assembling parts

Read and understand assembly instructions

Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts

Clean and maintain work area and equipment including tools

Conduct quality control checks

Verify specifications by measuring completed component

Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Assist in creating in-house standards

Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, verifying receipt of supplies

Work to KPI's targets and work autonomously

Making deliveries or picking up components from suppliers
