We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual for a full time Dispatch Room Operator position, located at our Clayton Office.

About the Role

Couriers Dispatch Operators are responsible for monitoring and directing a large number of courier vehicles across metro and regional areas nationally, so high-level time management skills are essential. The successful applicant represents Clinical Laboratories to a large number of our clients and so excellent communication, professionalism and customer service skills are essential.

The successful applicants will be required to work on a rotating Monday to Sunday roster across morning, afternoon, evening, and some overnight shifts.

· Operating the TMS (Transport Management System) to ensure all jobs are allocated.

· Monitoring the TMS (Transport Management System) to ensure jobs are completed within required time windows.

· Allocation and monitor Adhoc jobs via Phone, Portal and TMS (Transport Management System).

· Escalating customer enquiries to the appropriate department/person as required.

· Resolve clients’ complaints (where applicable) in a professional manner

· Assist with the efficient running of the Courier Dispatch Office.

To be considered for the role you will need to possess the following:

· Logistics/TMS (Transport Management System) experience.

· Excellent telephone manner and a high level of customer service skills.

· High attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

· An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.

· Availability to work any shift Monday to Sunday.

· Compliance with all Company policies, including zero tolerance and a non-smoking workplace.
