About Us
DLS Allied Health is a community-based, NDIS-registered Allied Health provider. We provide services to 1,000+ people across regional Victoria and New South Wales and are continuing to grow.
We provide Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology to people in a range of different community settings, and our local office in Lavington. Combined, our team work with people of all ages and different backgrounds, but as individuals we all have different scopes of practice. The majority of the people we help are NDIS participants, including the Early Childhood Approach.
Who are we looking for (Key Selection Criteria)?
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Albury-Wodonga region. The role is an ongoing position based in Lavington at our new office. The right person will:
Be an experienced or new graduate Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration.
Want to work with people from all backgrounds with different goals and ambitions.
Be passionate about making a difference in people's lives.
Love working in the community, delivering services to people in their homes, schools, workplaces, etc.
Responsibilities
Our Occupational Therapist's day-to-day responsibilities are split between:
Planning, delivering, and documenting therapy sessions.
Conducting assessments and writing reports, including Sensory Profiles, Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology, Home Modifications, and more.
Attending care team meetings, creating resources, and other activities to support the people you provide services to.
We are also dedicated to continuing our learning through Continued Professional Development (CPD). All of our practitioners have access to 10 days of study/CPD leave and a budget of $2,500 each year to undertake professional development or learning experiences (based on a full-time position).
What Are We Offering?
Salary for new graduate OTs: $85,000 per year + super + leave loading.
Salary for experienced OTs: $90,000 - $125,000 per year + super + leave loading (based on experience).
All positions are ongoing - no need to reapply every year to keep your role.
You will also receive:
Tools of the trade – a computer, phone, access to therapy resources, assessments, report writing templates, and more.
Access to fleet vehicles and reimbursement for personal travel at $0.99 per km where required.
Yearly CPD budget of $2500.
Flexible work schedules, including 8 or 9-day fortnights and other flexible options.
A hybrid work environment (WFH or our office, with appointments in the community).
5 weeks annual leave (1 more week than most organisations).
2 weeks study/CPD leave (8 more days than most organisations).
2 weeks personal leave.
Key Selection Criteria
Required
Registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
A current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and National Police Check.
A current Driver’s License and an operational vehicle.
Passionate to learn through CPD and supervision.
