About you

We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, self-motivated individual to lead Indigo Shire Council's Environment & Sustainability initiatives.

You will:

  • Hold qualifications in Environmental Management or a related field.
  • Have practical environmental industry experience including project management and leading staff, contractors & consultants.
  • Have a good understanding of and experience in the application of environmental legislation.
  • Be a passionate advocate for environmental & sustainability initiatives.

About the role

In this position you will lead Indigo Shire Council to drive sustainability, climate action, education, and best practices across our operations and the community.

  • Work as part of a team to tackle existing challenges and seize emerging opportunities for our community.
  • Part of the Senior Managment Team that supports the Executive Leadership Team.
