About the role
We are on the lookout for highly skilled Cyber Security Tools Senior Specialists to join our innovative Digital Services division. In this role, you will oversee and continually develop the cyber security tools used by our Cyber Response team and operational technology teams. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Essential Energy's information and data.
- Manage, administer and develop our cyber security tools including our SIEM capabilities utilised by the operations and cyber teams.
- Ensure cyber security tools are fit for purpose and maintained according to policies.
- Develop and coordinate plans for newly identified project or operational requirements, vulnerabilities or system capability to a high standard such that they do not pose risks.
- Maintain compliance and performance of cyber security tools.
- Lead the operational cyber tooling demand pipeline and engage with security architects, operations management and project managers.
About You
You are an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in managing and supporting cyber security tools. Your expertise in SIEM tools, stakeholder management, and leadership in a technical environment makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You are proactive in identifying and mitigating risks and have a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies.
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity and managing Splunk Enterprise SIEM tools.
- Proven stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills.
- Experience across multiple cyber platforms including EDR, Email Protection, and Data Protection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present data and trends to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Commerce or Humanities or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
