HillView Aged Care on the Gold Coast is seeking a dedicated Dinner Chef (Supervisor) to lead our evening kitchen team. This permanent part-time role offers set working hours, ensuring a balanced lifestyle while allowing you to create exceptional dining experiences for our valued residents.

About the Role

As our Dinner Chef (Supervisor), you will play a key leadership role in the kitchen, ensuring that every meal is prepared to the highest standards of nutrition, flavour, and presentation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading dinner service and overseeing evening kitchen operations
• Preparing and presenting nutritious and delicious meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs
• Ensuring impeccable food safety and hygiene standards
• Managing inventory, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation
• Collaborating with the culinary team to refine menus and incorporate seasonal ingredients
• Supervising kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a chef or cook, ideally in aged care or a premium service setting
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise the dinner shift
• Passion for creating high-quality meals with an understanding of elderly dietary requirements
• Ability to work 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, including weekends as required
• Current police check (or willingness to obtain)
• Legal right to work in Australia
