Personal Care Worker

St Andrews Byron Bay (known as Georges Cottages) is seeking qualified and experienced Personal Care Workers (AIN).

Parttime positions available 7 days a week across the below shifts:

AM - 0630-1330 and 0630-1500

PM - 1445-2030 and 1445-2230

Night Duty - 2215-0645

$33.03 per hour plus shift allowances

Salary sacrificing - up to $18K (increase your take-home pay)

What you'll be doing

Providing excellence in the delivery of personal care to our residents

Supporting a multidisciplinary team under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes Required for this role

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support Aged Care (essential).

Previous experience working in Aged Care (preferred).

Ability to assist residents in personal care and other activities.

Maintain a hygienic, safe environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Demonstrated compliance with resident/family privacy, dignity and confidentiality.

Recognise, report and respond to changes in residents’ conditions.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, and understanding of diverse backgrounds, values and cultures.

Current permit to work in Australia.
