Calling Mechanical Fitters! - Port Botany Shutdown - Excellent Rates!

Are you a highly skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker, or Rigger looking for a short-term, high-earning opportunity?

Randstad is seeking experienced and mechanical fitters to join our team for a 4-day bi-annual maintenance shutdown at our clients chemical plant in Port Botany. This is your chance to contribute your expertise and earn excellent rates with significant overtime potential.

Shutdown Dates: 4 days: Monday, May 5th - Thursday, May 8th, 2025

Work Schedule:

• 10-14 hour shifts (dependent per day)
• Start time: 6:00 AM
• Penalty rates apply after 8 hours (time and half, double time)

We are looking for individuals with proven experience in:

This role encompasses all aspects of heavy industrial maintenance, including the dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly of mechanical equipment. Experience with pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include completing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and proactively repairing equipment to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the chemical plant facility.
