About the role

Bantu Agency is looking for experienced Underground HD Mechanics and Automotive Electricians to join our team Western Australia. This is a full-time position that will see you working in a dynamic and challenging mining environment, providing critical maintenance and repair services to keep our client's operations running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on heavy-duty mining equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a wide range of vehicles and machinery

Conducting repairs and maintenance on fleet equipment using fault-finding techniques and best practices.

Providing field service and repair solutions.

Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work completed

Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to ensure optimal equipment performance

Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in automotive or heavy vehicle mechanics, with a specialisation in underground mining equipment

Proven experience as an underground HD mechanic or automotive electrician in a mining or heavy industry environment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Current driver's licence and ability to obtain relevant mining site and vehicle operating tickets.
