We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s HR Driver, you will operate a Crane / Hiab & RORO Driver from both the Stapylton & Underwood depots.

No two days are the same — there is a lot of variety in this role as you service multiple customer sites across different locations. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, maintained in our on-site workshops.

We are looking for someone with truck driving experience. A crane ticket is desirable; however, if you don't have one, we can provide training.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

You will enjoy family friendly hours – no more long haul, DIDO or FIFO, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends!

Early starts (4am) and early finishes.

ABOUT YOU

Current HR license

Experience in operating a crane truck / hiab vehicle highly desirable

Must be able to structure runs and have an excellent rapport with customers

Commit to JJ’s Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity

Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance

Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing

Able to provide your last 5 years’ traffic history at interview stage

Well-developed people and relationship skills
