Axis Clinic is an established and large multi-disciplinary private mental health clinic, located in Brisbane and Northern NSW. We are passionate about collaborative, comprehensive, compassionate and accessible mental health care across the lifespan. We provide mental health care to organisations, health and community professionals, veterans, children, organisations, teenagers, couples, families and adults. We are growing with referrals and need a full-time early-career psychologist who would like to develop their career with Axis Clinic and gain experience and responsibility across a number of key clinical areas. We need a dynamic and motivated psychologist across key growth areas of our practice; gaining experience and growing within the role to take responsibility for overseeing identified areas of the practice in the longer-term. These areas include employee assistance programs, assessment, groups, children and families, Medicare and Veterans. This role will work closely with our practice manager, and directors assisting in busy referral areas. A willingness to participate in business development, trainings and webinars an advantage. This role has the option for a generally registered psychologist to be supervised to gain clinical endorsement. Tasks include assessment (children, adolescent and adult), interventions across a range of evidence based psychological approaches including DBT, EMDR, schema, groups, CBT, and psychodynamic ideas), notes and report writing, maintaining AHPRA and APS ethical standards, and team participation.
