SA Government agency looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work on infrastructure and Cybersecurity IT projects.

Our client is seeking a skilled Cyber or IT Business Analyst to join our team for a short-term hourly rate temporary role for up to 3 months, focusing on conducting a review and gap analysis of cyber threat hunting/intelligence tools in SA Government, and deliver a report containing recommendations for suitable solutions, procurement options and third-party vendors (if applicable).

• 7.5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week.
• Clearances: Passed Police Check mandatory requirement.
• Temporary role ASAP start for up to 3 months.
• Hourly rate temporary contract appointment ranging from $70 per hour plus 11.5% super to $110 per hour plus 11.5% super. The rate of pay will be defined with the candidate based on skills, experience, or expertise on Cybersecurity Business Analysis project experience.
• Must be Adelaide South Australia based as work from office will be required from Adelaide's CBD, likely 5 days a week.
• All applicable award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances and superannuation for this role.

KEY ROLE OUTCOMES

• Assess existing threat hunting tools and identify any gaps.
• Review the compatibility of the tools with the department's existing IT infrastructure and security practices.
• Provide a detailed report outlining the evaluation process, findings, and purchase recommendations for the most appropriate tools.
• Assess the tools against the established criteria and make recommendations based on their ability to meet the department's needs.

BA SKILLS REQUIRED

• Business analyst experience, preferably in cyber security or technology roles

MUST BE COMPETENT IN THESE SYSTEMS:

• An awareness of cyber security threat hunting and intelligence tools preferred.
• Successful candidate must have a National Police Clearance before commencing.
• No AGSVA clearance required.
