The Role
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising and securing the company's Azure infrastructure following a recent migration. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the existing team, providing support and mentorship to help them enhance their skills and knowledge. You will also be responsible for validating the security of the environment and implementing best practices to ensure the infrastructure is running efficiently and reliably. Key responsibilities:

• Optimise the Azure environment to improve performance and reliability
• Mentor and support the existing team to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Validate the security of the Azure infrastructure and implement best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
• Provide support and troubleshoot any issues that arise

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
• Strong understanding of Azure security best practices and the ability to implement them
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in mentoring and supporting a team of cloud professionals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
