This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, and Permanent Part Time appointments. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/10/2025.

Position Profile: Responsible for coordinating the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of holistic clinical services and relevant health promotion programs to the Aboriginal communities serviced by Population Health. The role provides leadership, supervision and support to the Aboriginal Health Team to facilitate appropriate client and program outcomes, as well as being responsible for the delivery of safe care outcomes and upholding the standards of nursing and midwifery.

Area Profile: The Wheatbelt region spans 155,000 square kilometres, encompassing six Aboriginal lands and language groups. From Jurien Bay on the coast to Southern Cross in the East, Dalwallinu in the north, and Lake Grace in the south, the region offers extensive opportunities. Health services include emergency and inpatient care, outpatient medical, nursing, and allied health services, as well as cancer, renal, palliative, rehabilitation, aged care, mental health, public health, health promotion, and child, school, and community health services. District hospitals in Narrogin, Northam, Merredin, and Moora, along with 35 smaller community hospitals and health centres, ensure comprehensive care across the region.
