Remuneration package of up to $536,916 p.a., comprising base salary range of $210,332 - $266,677 p.a., (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (L18-L27), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%), attraction and retention incentive allowance, regional and rural attraction allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance and leave, private practice arrangements, communications package, professional indemnity cover and inaccessibility allowance (if applicable).

About the role
Townsville is the tertiary referral centre for Northern Queensland, and it will be a transplant Centre by 2024. The Mount Isa Renal Unit is in the process of expansion from a satellite dialysis unit of Townsville to providing the services of an independent unit to include a home therapies unit.
This full-time nephrology position is based in Townsville and provides outreach services to Mount Isa. For Mount Isa, this position will complement the existing 0.5 nephrologist. The role in Mount Isa is to provide nephrology services to the dialysis unit, outpatients, and inpatient consults. The rotation is every 2 weeks between Mount Isa and Townsville. In Townsville, the position consists of further telehealth services for Mount Isa, liaising with both units for patient care and complementing the Townsville Renal services.
Role requirements
Specialist registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
