About the role
Kanga Couriers' is seeking an experienced HR Truck driver to join our dynamic team in Pinkenba, Queensland. As a full-time position, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, delivering packages and goods to our valued customers across the region.
What you'll be doing
Safely operating heavy rigid vehicles to transport and deliver pallets and freight
Planning and executing efficient delivery routes to meet customer deadlines
Performing daily pre-departure checks and routine maintenance on your assigned vehicle
Ensuring all deliveries are handled with care and in compliance with company policies
Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships
Collaborating with the logistics team to optimise operations and address any issues
What we're looking for
A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence with a clean driving record
At least 2 years' experience in a similar heavy vehicle delivery role
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
