About Mental Health Division:
Northern Health is the third largest mental health service in Victoria Northern. Within the Mental Health Division, we pride ourselves on providing high quality mental health services to people living in the northern regions of Melbourne, and work in a collaborative way with consumers and carers based on recovery principles. We aim to provide strong clinical leadership to support all staff in the provision of professional treatment and care by our integrated community teams, inpatient, and residential services.
The Role:
A part time position is available for a motivated and driven Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the Older Adults team at Northern Health.
The Grade 2 Physiotherapist is responsible for provision of high level, evidence based physiotherapy care (based on their area of expertise) for consumers on the wards at Broadmeadows Hospital Site. They must be flexible in service delivery models to adjust to the needs of inpatients.
The role will provide clinical care across two Older Adults Mental Health Inpatient Units on a part time basis and will require the successful applicant staff to travel between the two sites.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated sound clinical skills
- Experience working with Older Adults with a mental health diagnosis.
