Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist. Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre is a high security centre. The centre is one of the primary reception centres for newly sentenced male prisoners in SEQ with the view to supporting prisoners to move onto a placement centre following assessment. The Senior Psychologist is responsible for the provision of high-level, specialist mental health assessment and intervention, and provides clinical supervision and leadership to a multidisciplinary team. The role will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team effectively integrating psychology perspectives with other operational perspectives to affect optimal outcomes for prisoners. Qualifications and Registration:
• Bachelor's degree (4 years) in psychology or behavioural science.
• General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
