The Product Team Leader plays a pivotal role in leading and supporting the team to effectively contract, load, distribute, and promote travel products across our B2B, B2C, and internal reservations channels.

You will manage a designated portfolio of your own destinations, taking ownership of sourcing innovative, brand-aligned products and implementing strategic initiatives to drive sales growth.

Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, your leadership will be critical in achieving revenue targets, expanding our customer base, and strengthening our reputation as South Pacific specialists.

This position requires a passion for the South Pacific, strong Product experience, strategic acumen and proven people management experience. We want a leader who thrives on developing and mentoring their team, plus nurture and build on our existing supplier relationships.

As a boutique South Pacific wholesaler committed to providing first rate customer service to Australian Travel Agents, Omniche Holidays offers holiday packages to Fiji, The Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Tahiti, Samoa, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island, Niue & Pitcairn Island.

Key areas of responsibility (including but not limited to):

Oversee the full product lifecycle from sourcing and negotiation through to system loading and channel distribution.

Develop and execute destination strategies to maximize revenue, passenger numbers, and room nights.

Monitor, analyse, and report on product performance and destination trends.

Conduct product reviews and market analysis to identify new opportunities.

Maintain accurate and consistent product data across platforms, including Tourplan and online systems.

Stay up-to-date with destination developments, trends, and market conditions.

Create competitive, compelling packages for distribution via trade and direct channels.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, identifying opportunities to expand South Pacific offerings.

Partner with the Marketing team to execute campaigns that support our destinations.

Engage with suppliers and Tourism Bodies to secure marketing partnerships and co-op opportunities.

Track and analyse the product performance of marketing efforts against key metrics.

Skills and Necessary Requirements:

Min 2 years Product Team Leader/Manager industry experience is essential

A team player with a great attitude is essential

Sound knowledge of the South Pacific

Wholesale Travel experience preferred

Contracting experience highly desirable

Passion for travel products

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks

Previous recent experience in product loading highly desirable
