About the role

As a Podiatrist at Brindabella Podiatry, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive foot and ankle care to our diverse patient base in our thriving private practice located in Canberra, ACT. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a New Graduate or an experienced podiatry professional to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnoses to develop individualised treatment plans
• Perform a range of podiatric treatments, including nail care, skin and soft tissue management, orthotic therapy, and the management of sports injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions
• Perform A LOT of nail surgeries as we also have www.canberraingrowntoenail.com.au
• Educate patients on preventative foot health and the importance of ongoing care, especially with our diabetes patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with professional standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinical processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• AHPRA Registered Podiatrist who has been practicing for a while or new to the profession.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans. If you are a New Grad, don't stress- we can teach you all of this!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with the broader healthcare team
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and maintaining strict professional standards
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to have a good laugh and enjoy the company of others!
