Overview

• This is a highly supportive and well established Mid Tier National Chartered Firm with a strong Positive culture. It has an interesting and challenging Private Clients Tax Work, Social/Positive Work Environment and provides staff with great Client exposure.
• This role suits an ambitious, "smart" and "commercial" Tax professional who is looking to specialise and focus on Tax Advisory to a broad range of Family groups and Corporate clients. You will be seeking a quality Client portfolio and Career/Life balance.
• The Firm has grown well above average year on year and has an excellent "value proposition" that is very well regarded in the local and National market place for the quality of its staff and clients, plus the innovative and professional approach to client solutions. It has various practice areas, including Tax Consulting, Business Services/Advisory, Audit and Corporate Finance.
• The Tax Group offers a full range of services covering Private Clients and large Wealthy Family groups. Direct/Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing, Transactional work, Consolidations and Tax Structuring and Planning.

Responsibilities

• You will Head up the Tax function for the Firm.
• The work would be Advisory focused. Working within this dedicated and supportive Tax team you will have alot of "face-to-face" Client interaction. They is a real need amongst current clients for your Tax advice.
• You will be involved in all areas of Private Clients Tax matters. Restructuring; tax due diligence fieldwork and drafting of Tax reports; conducting and documenting Tax research; drafting of specific and complex advice, and navigation around major Tax structures.
• You will have the opportunity to make a real IMPACT within the firm and its clients !

Requirements

• You will have an excellent Tax knowledge within a good quality Chartered firm (International, National, Medium or Boutique sized), and be highly knowledgeable on Australian Private Clients Tax issues. Being qualified CPA/CA you will have the desire and intellectual capacity to progress your Tax advisory career.
• This role provides you the opportunity to use your BD/Networking skills with existing clients as well as new prospects.
