The Opportunity

We are seeking Registered Nurses to support our 10 bedded ICU Unit at Wollongong Private Hospital! Our unit oversees numerous specialties including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, vascular, plastics and general surgery and you will be supporting patients by administrating varying care procedures. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

Skills and Experience

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in a hospital environment is essential
• Must have recent ICU experience
• Cardiothoracic experience desirable
• Post-graduate qualifications and/or certificates highly regarded
• Excellent understanding of infection control principles
• Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team

Remuneration

On offer is base hourly rate of $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $72,420.40- $101,704.72].

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
