About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Director to join our dynamic and caring team at Austral Community Preschool. As a part-time Service Director, you will be responsible for leading our preschool and driving its continued success. This pivotal role will allow you to leverage your passion for early childhood education and your proven leadership skills to create an engaging and nurturing environment for our young learners.

What you'll be doing

Provide exceptional educational leadership and strategic direction for the preschool

Oversee the daily operations, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintain high quality standards

Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, mentor and develop educators

Build strong relationships with families, the local community and key stakeholders

Implement innovative educational programs and continuously improve learning outcomes

Manage administrative duties, budgets, and maintain robust quality assurance processes

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Service Director or in a senior leadership role in early childhood education

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field

In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework and ability to ensure compliance

Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement

Passion for providing high-quality early childhood education and care
