Randstad is currently recruiting for various roles in manufacturing environments, including a despatch forklift operator and a machine operator.

The role - despatch forklift operator

This is an opportunity for an experienced despatch forklift operator. You will be working on a rotating roster, 2 weeks on dayshift, 2 weeks on afternoon shift. You will be joining a fantastic team in a manufacturing environment in Renmark.

• Use of forklift - load and unload trucks
• Use of RF scanning system
• Moving goods around the warehouse
• Pick and packing of orders
• Forklift operations

To apply you will need

A current LF licence and previous experience in a similar despatch forklift operator role loading and unloading trucks and racking.

• A valid Forklift licence
• Warehouse, logistics,experience an advantage
• Previous experience loading/unloading trucks
• Previous experience with racking in warehouse environment
• Physically fit and able to do manual tasks
• Previous use of relevant warehouse computer systems
• Previous warehouse, logistics, experience an advantage

The role - machine operator

Are you mechanically minded with experience working in manufacturing and production? Have you considered becoming a machine operator? This is an opportunity for a machine operator. You will be working in an important section of a growing food manufacturing company in Renmark.

• Machinery set up, maintenance, and operation
• Cleaning and sanitization of machinery
• Data entry and reporting in computer system

To apply you will need

Prior experience in a similar machine operator or production worker role. Alternatively, skills such as the following are transferable;

• Attention to detail
• Mechanically minded and able to pick things up quickly
• Literacy and numerousy
• Assembly line experience
• IT Skill
