About the role
As ERP Systems Lead, you will be responsible for the oversight and optimisation of Ipswich City Council's enterprise business platforms, including Oracle Fusion, Oracle OIC, Workday and Infor Pathway. This leadership role is central to ensuring these systems are fit-for-purpose, secure, and responsive to evolving organisational needs.
Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, you will lead ERP strategy and operations to deliver efficient, user-focused outcomes while building capability within a high-performing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the ERP Systems team to deliver stable, secure and optimised enterprise systems
- Manage upgrades, integrations and vendor relationships to ensure continuous improvement
- Drive alignment between ERP functionality and strategic organisational goals
- Champion best practice system administration, data integrity and process innovation
- Fostering a team culture of technical excellence, adaptability and collaborative delivery

About you
To thrive in this role, you will bring a blend of strategic thinking, systems expertise, and people leadership. You will be comfortable navigating technical complexity, engaging across business units, and working at pace in a collaborative environment.
You will also bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant ICT, business or systems-related discipline
- Extensive experience with major ERP platforms (e.g. Oracle Fusion, Oracle OIC, Workday, SAP, or similar)
- Proven ability to lead ERP system delivery and optimisation across complex environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a solutions-focused approach
- A track record of building technical capability and fostering high-performing teams
- A commitment to values-driven leadership and continuous improvement

This is a full time position, Level 8, with a starting salary of $127,359 plus12.5% superannuation.
