As a Casual Educator at OOSH, you will play a key role in providing quality care and support for children before and after school hours, as well as during school holidays. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging educational activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. As a casual member of the team, you will need to be adaptable and ready to step in as needed, working alongside other educators to support children’s development and social skills in a fun, structured, and caring setting.

Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise and engage children in educational activities that promote creativity, learning, and development.
*Ensure the safety, well-being, and health of children at all times.
*Assist in the preparation and clean-up of the program space and materials.
*Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all children.
*Build strong relationships with children, parents, and other staff members.
*Provide support for children with special needs, where applicable.
*Adhere to the center’s policies and procedures, including child protection and behavior management guidelines.
*Flexibly work a variety of shifts as per the needs of the program.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*A commitment to child-centered practices.
*First Aid and CPR certification (desirable).
*Working with Children Check (mandatory).
