About the role

We are looking for a Part-time Pharmacist to join our team at Capital Chemist O'Connor in O'Connor, ACT 2602. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality healthcare services to our customers.

This part-time position requires 2 to 3 shifts from afternoon to close, with Thursdays and Fridays as essential shifts. Penalty rates apply for after-hours work.

What you'll be doing

Providing professional pharmaceutical care and advice to customers

Dispensing prescriptions

Monitoring patient medication regimens and medication counselling

Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)

Current general registration with AHPRA (without conditions or undertakings)

Current first aid, CPR and Immunisation qualifications

Current Opioid Replacement Therapy certificate

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Experience with Fred Dispense (desirable)

Experience in electronic DD book (for Opioid Dependence Treatment and DD book) (desirable)
