About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team at GTO Energy Services' in Perth, WA. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the mining equipment and machinery used in our operations. What you'll be doing

Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in power station equipment and machinery

Carry out routine maintenance and servicing tasks to ensure optimal performance

Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to inform your work

Collaborate with the wider maintenance team to deliver effective and efficient solutions

Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant trade

Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a mining or industrial setting

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
