Based in Prestons, our company delivers to restaurants and butchers throughout Sydney. We are a growing business, well known in the Asian community for our fresh poultry products. We are currently searching for a new driver with great work ethic and a can-do attitude to join our team.

The Role:

You will be required to work 5 days 7am-3pm including Saturdays. This is a full-time position.

Some earlier starts and late finishes will be required on our busier days. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, organised and customer service driven. As part of this role, you will also assist the warehouse supervisor with all warehouse requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for heading out on the road in our trucks to distribute our products promptly to designated areas

Obtain and be responsible for cash payments from customers

Loading, unloading items when delivering to our customers and ensuring you are delivering with pride, and exceptional customer experience during your interactions

Multi-drop deliveries

Keep delivery vehicles clean and presentable to customers

Receiving, handling and packing inventory

Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy and readiness to dispatch

Coordinate any warehouse maintenance projects

Enforce and develop safety and hygiene protocols according to the standard operating procedures within the warehouse

Drive continuous improvement to enhance warehouse and delivering efficiency

Essential Requirements:

Full Drivers Licence – Auto/Manual

Applicant needs to be physically fit to lift 20-25Kg cartons, there is repeated lifting involved in this position

Punctuality

Forklift licence (essential)

Delivery driver experience – multi drop experience preferred

Experience driving a 3 tonne truck

Confident verbal and written communication skills

Drivers Licence Check and a National Police check will be mandatory
