We currently have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced labourer for work with a road works - Traffic Facilities team based at Waratah. The main function of this role will revolve around various signposting, pavement marking and line marking projects. You will be required to travel and live away for work - for up to 2 weeks at a time.

Commencing ASAP, this role will involve working full time hours for a period of 3 months initially with potential of further work available, depending on satisfactory performance and operational needs. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, with additional allowances paid for travel/camp work.

Accommodation will be provided when travelling, with relevant allowances paid. Some night work may also be required at times, and overtime will be available.

Previous experience in line-marking, pavement marking and/or signposting would be highly regarded.

Successful Applicants will need;

Current WHS White Card

MR Driver licence

Traffic control ticket/s - preferred but not essential

Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain prior to start of work (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)

good all round fitness for manual work tasks

previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
