Transport Compliance & Safety Coordinator

Reporting to National Transport Manager

About the Role:

As the Transport Compliance & Safety Coordinator, you will be a vital support to the leadership team, focusing on safety, compliance, and enforcement initiatives across the transport function. You'll liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure high standards of onboarding, training, and safety are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

Review resumes, contact candidates, and coordinate interviews and medical appointments

Contribute to toolbox meetings and support post-incident investigations

Manage onboarding processes, including requisitions, starter packs, and documentation checks

Assist candidates with completing forms and inductions, both digitally and manually

Set up PCs and support Rapid inductions and training delivery

Coordinate driver training (VOC, tablet use) and follow up on required inductions (e.g., Tribal Habits, Driving for Life)

Liaise between drivers, HR, and other departments to resolve time-sensitive issues

Maintain compliance via Rapid Reporting, Webfleet checks, and driver discipline monitoring

Track and chase outstanding training and induction completions

What You'll Bring

Experience supporting or coordinating in a compliance, safety, or transport-focused environment

Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills

Confident in training, guiding, and assisting staff

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Great communication and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
