About the role

Cobbitty Grove Kitchens' is seeking a talented and experienced Qualified Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team in Smeaton Grange, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the skilled craftsmanship and construction of high-quality custom kitchen cabinets and furniture.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting design plans and blueprints to construct cabinets and furniture pieces with precision

Operating woodworking machinery and tools to transform raw materials into finished products

Collaborating with the design team to ensure the final product meets client specifications

Carrying out quality checks and making any necessary adjustments to ensure flawless workmanship

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

Mentoring and supporting junior cabinet makers to develop their skills

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Carpentry or Cabinet Making, with at least 3-5 years of post-apprenticeship experience

Demonstrated expertise in woodworking techniques, including joinery, finishing, and installation

Proficiency in reading and interpreting design plans and schematics

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A keen eye for aesthetics and design trends
