Shingle Inn is searching for passionate, enthusiastic team members for our store within Brisbane's City Hall. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your passion for customer service, make premium products and utilise your superior kitchen skills.

Established in 1936, Shingle Inn has built upon its reputation for excellence, becoming a beloved cafe chain that proudly continues its dedication to exceeding customers' expectations.

Kitchen duties include:

Constant communication with all team members to ensure service is reaching optimum levels

Preparing café style menu selections and using kitchen equipment

Conducting general cleaning duties

Ensure compliance of workplace, health and safety, and other legislative requirements

Providing quick, efficient and polite service at all times

Preparing high quality food for customers in a timely manner

Ensuring Shingle Inn food recipes are followed to our high standards

Maintaining minimal wastage

Work well as part of a small team

To be successful, you will:

Be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding your customers' expectations

Be punctual and reliable

Have excellent communication skills

Be willing to be trained in all areas of the cafe

Have a passion for great coffee, great food and great service!

Must have full availability across a 7-day roster

And finally, have a positive 'can do' attitude and love working as part of a team!

Flexible availability is essential, as we operate seven days. There is also potential for advancement to Kitchen Supervisor for the right candidate.
