About the role

This is a casual position with Infravision Pty Ltd, a leading manufacturer of specialised trailers used in the cutting edge construction of electrical infrastructure utilising heavy lift drones. Based in Coolum Beach, Queensland, you will be responsible for the assembly and repair of our world-class trailer range.

What you'll be doing

Assemble and fit key mechanical components to products the support the stringing of powerlines, including the revolutionary line hardware devices.

Conduct quality checks and testing of assembled units to ensure they meet safety and performance standards

Assist with the repair and maintenance of our line hardware and our other stringing equipment in the fleet as required

Identify and troubleshoot any issues or defects during the assembly process

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience in mechanical assembly

Strong practical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and use hand and power tools

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards

Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
