Occupational Therapist – Adults or mixed caseload

Role:
Based in Sth Queensland, the Occupational Therapist will work amongst a team of Occupational Therapists and have sound knowledge of how the NDIS funding works and how to break down a plan. This role will entail outreach service delivery from Community-based settings. Daily tasks will include;

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention for clients.
• Develop intervention plans, including short and long-term goals, in line with the client’s NDIS goals.
• Good communication, by ensuring integrated service delivery and follow-ups, coordinating and communicating as required.
• Incorporate a holistic approach to health care according to community and organisation priorities.
• Ensure all information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record system.
• Work closely with support coordinators and referring clinics to track the client's progress.
• Ability to work autonomously

Essential Criteria:

• AHPRA fully registered Occupational Therapist
• National Police Check, Blue Card (WWC)
• NDIS worker Screening Check
• Completion on NDIS Worker Orientation
• Current drivers license and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
