About the Role
The City of Wanneroo is seeking applicants for Sports Umpire positions at Kingsway Indoor Stadium for Netball, Volleyball and Basketball. We aim to deliver Social Sport Competitions that offer a fun and safe environment for people to play sport; and we’re looking for experienced umpires to help us make that happen!

This is a great opportunity to get involved in the sports & recreation industry! Currently, our timetable includes:

  • Netball on Wednesday evenings
  • Volleyball on Thursday evenings
  • Basketball on Friday evenings

About You
As a collaborative member of the Kingsway team, the position is responsible for officiating the social competitions held Wednesday evenings for Netball, Thursday evenings for Volleyball, and Friday evenings for Basketball at the stadium. It is expected that interested individuals possess the following skills & experience:

  • Sound knowledge of rules for the relevant sport
  • Experience in umpiring adult sports
  • Sound communication skills
  • An enthusiastic attitude
  • Confidence in their decision making in high pressure situations
  • Formal umpire / referee qualification (qualification and experience in an umpiring role is preferred)
