Opportunity

This 4 partner firm is a great place to work. They offer flexible working arrangements, with 2 days work from home post probation. There’s a lot of opportunity for staff to develop, as they encourage you to interact with clients, cover CA or CPA expenses and value training; alternating monthly between an external training provider and one of the partners conducting training sessions on various topics relating to business services. They also hold monthly team building sessions, doing activities such as pizza making and ten pin bowling.

Clients range on average from $2M - $20M. They don’t specialise in any particular industry so you would be exposed to a diverse range of clients. They are fairly easy going and relaxed. You would be expected to maintain productivity levels of 85% but they encourage you to finish work at 5pm.

You would mainly be doing compliance work, managing your own list of clients. Ideally you have experience doing BAS, Div7a, FBT, GST and CGT. There is a lot of client interaction in this role, so you must have strong communication/writing skills.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified, or working towards
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Services Accountant
• Experience doing BAS, Div7a, FBT, GST and CGT.
• Experience with Xero and XPM preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to maintain productivity of 85%
• Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business, with a Major in Accounting
