Senior Backend Developer (C# .NET) | Melbourne-Based Hybrid | Build Something That Matters

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join a tight-knit Melbourne-based team working on a product that’s making a real-world impact across industries like transport, government, and corporate services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Build and enhance a critical platform used by major organisations across Australia

Design high-performance backend systems using modern C# .NET frameworks

Apply your understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure to deliver scalable solutions

Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in a supportive, hybrid work environment

What You’ll Need:

Australian citizenship (must-have)

Senior level of experience in backend development and DevOps, particularly with AWS

Expertise in C# .NET (latest versions preferred), WebAPI/MVC

Strong skills in EF Core, LINQ, TSQL, and NoSQL (MongoDB or similar)

Familiarity with distributed patterns like CQRS and Pub/Sub

AWS tools like EC2, ECS, Lambda, CDK

Familiarity with AspNet Boilerplate (ABP)

Nice to Have:

AGSVA Baseline security clearance (not required)

Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines

Some frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
