Total Fibre & Data are seeking an experienced and confident Communication Technician to join our professional staff on a full-time basis, creating reliable, high-quality communication and network systems through expert installation, maintenance, and upgrades.

Duties & responsibilities:

Perform site audits and rack audits

Conduct rack upgrades and infrastructure assessments

Install, terminate, and test Cat6A cabling

Terminate and test fibre optic cables

Program CCTV and design Wi-Fi systems where required (additional training can be provided here)

Qualifications & attributes:

Communications licence

Copper and Fibre endorsements

Cabling certifications such as Commscope, Molex, or Panduit is advantageous

Willing to travel for work opportunities across Australia

Solid understanding of electronics and network systems

Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Comfort with tools and technical equipment

Full Australian working rights and current residence
