About the role

Partner in care disability services is looking for a passionate and caring Personal Care Worker to join our team in Townsville, QLD. In this casual role, you will provide high-quality support and assistance to clients with a range of day-to-day activities, helping them to live independently and with dignity.

What you'll be doing

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Help with light domestic duties like meal preparation, cleaning and laundry
• Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and outings
• Observe and report any changes in a client's condition or needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent
• Experience in providing personal care and support services to people with a disability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach
• Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate ( compulsory)
• NDIS worker screening card ( compulsory)
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including active nights, sleepover s, weekends and public holidays
